Discovery Solutions was founded in 2005 by David Mossburg to provide recruiting services for the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Since then, Discovery Solutions has grown to serve clients across a wide variety of industries including telecommunications, manufacturing, engineering and financial services in addition to the pharmaceutical and biotech arenas.

In 2009 David Mossburg shifted the focus of the business from contingency recruiting to contract staffing, which remains the core of the business today.

Leadership

David Mossburg holds an MBA from Loyola University Chicago and a BA in economics from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Prior to founding Discovery Solutions he worked as a manufacturing supervisor for Cooper Industries and as a consultant for Deloitte and Andersen Worldwide. In 2014 he retired from the U.S. Air Force Reserves, where he served as an intelligence officer in the Pentagon. He lives near Baltimore, Maryland, with his family.
