DESCRIPTION: The AE is primarily responsible for the customer development of healthcare systems that have market and/or regional influence. Within healthcare systems, the AE will be accountable for selling branded OTC self-care programs and initiatives to organized customers such as ACOs, IDNs, large medical groups, and professional associations. These efforts will require the ability to network complex organizations in order to deliver programming at both the department and organizational levels. The goal of the AE will be to implement scalable programs that deliver incremental household penetration of our Personal Health Care (PHC) brands through professional influence and recommendation. This role heavily relies on the ability to strategically sell, educate, and inspire professional influencers to incorporate sustainable programs that drive disproportionate volume for our brands. The primary areas of responsibility for the role include: Business Outcomes via branded OTC self-care programs that drive disproportionate growth of PHC OTC House Hold Penetration (HHP) and NOS. Development of local associations and influencers. Development of care coordination centers (including patient education centers) and other scale teams/groups that have influence for our brands and/or programming.
Business Plan Development- Demonstrates exceptional strategic thinking and planning for key account development. Clearly articulates strategic customer plans utilizing Customer Action Plans (CAPs) and Joint Business Plans (JBPs). Demonstrates and develops strategic selling skills that result in transformational alliances and partnerships. Responsible for learning to navigate through complex organizations to "connect the dots" to key influencers and owners (decision makers). Collects, analyzes, and shares key trends in the healthcare system channel. Keeps up to date with local market trends (including care coordination) and developments for the purpose of identifying new opportunities within the market.
Strategic Selling Skills and Capability Development- Demonstrates and develops strategic selling skills that result in transformational alliances and partnerships. Responsible for learning to navigate through complex organizations to "connect the dots" to key influencers and owners (decision makers).Industry and Market Knowledge- Collects, analyzes, and shares key trends in the healthcare system channel. Keeps up to date with local market trends (including care coordination) and developments for the purpose of identifying new opportunities within the market.
EXPERIENCE: 5-10 years in healthcare/pharma/medical sales
B2B Sales
3+ years in managed care and/or healthcare systems
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree required.
