Discovery Solutions is seeking job seekers for a contract position with one of our customers, Lilly, a leading pharmaceutical company headquartered in Indianapolis, IN.
LOCATION: Branchburg, NJ
DESCRIPTION:
The Sr. Technician-QA Inspection (STQI) performs incoming inspections and labeling of raw materials, GMP supplies, bulks, final containers, finished goods, and maintains retention samples. The STQI supports the Supplier Certification Program by performing sampling of raw materials and GMP supplies used in the manufacturing or testing of ImClone products. The STQI supports the Supplier Discrepancy Notification and Corrective Action procedure, for QCI rejected materials.
The STQI is responsible for generating labels and logging samples into LIMS.
Individualized responsibilities for a particular project/expertise will be discussed and agreed at an individual level.
Primary Responsibilities:
The (STQI) ensures raw materials and GMP supplies are inspected, sampled and released according to their priority:
Perform physical inspections in accordance with procedures and specifications.
Perform sampling in accordance with procedures and specifications.
Release, reject, quarantine materials based on inspections, test results and procedures.
Maintain current records of all raw materials received.
Responsible for LIMS sample log-in.
Responsible for performing Raman ID testing on materials.
Assists with maintaining current training credits in ELM.
Responsible for annual retain inspections.
The (STQI) provides training of new employees.
Responsible for scheduling the environmental monitoring in the QCI Sampling Suite.
SHIFT:
Monday - Friday
8:30 am - 5:00 pm
EXPERIENCE:
1-2 yrs of Biopharming experience and Associate degree or 2+ yrs of experience without a degree.
Ability to work in a fast pace environment
Able to follow SOPs.
Knowledge of ANSI/ASQC standard sampling plans.
Must maintain an understanding of cGMP regulations related to QCI applications.
Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word.
Strong organizational skills.
Detail oriented and possess strong skills in basic mathematics.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and demands while ensuring deadlines are met.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
EDUCATION: Associate Degree
